WMD MEMBER RULES
This clan was established to provide a comfortable and fun gaming environment. Disrespecting people (especially clanmates) will not be tolerated. If you are seen doing this, there will be no "hey, you shouldn’t do that", instead, you will be kindly asked to leave the clan. This is our single most important rule, above all others. I realize there will be the odd disagreement on subjects, that’s human, name calling for example, is not needed or welcome. If you know you’re a person who enjoys stirring up shit for some entertainment, you need not apply.
First off, just because you are wearing the WMD tag, does not mean you can be an asshole in the servers. If anything, it’s the complete opposite! We expect a much higher level of respect from our members in our servers. We’re trying to fill our servers, not empty them. Always keep in mind, we’re noob friendly!
1) Be helpful & respectful at all times. For example, if someone is new to the game, give them a hand, no n00b calling. All our servers should be ‘n00b’ friendly.
2) If someone is giving your a hard time and there isn’t an admin around to do anything, take note of their name, we can get their steam_id from our stats page if it was something serious enough for them to be manually banned. If they are hacking and you are sure, get a demo. Also, votekick should work when no admins are in the server
3) Just make our servers pleasant to play in, pretty much common sense, the idea is to create regulars, not scare them away. We have one chance at a first impression
4) Please help fight team stacking! If you notice you’re kicking ass and the other team could use your help, make the switch. There is nothing worse then being on a horribly unbalanced team for 35 minutes.
5) Do not abuse the betting system by joining spectator to regain money with the purpose of replacing lost cash or just building up on your winnings. This applies to everyone, no exceptions.
6) No inclan scrimming for the time being.
7) If you happen to be on a competitive team outside of wmd, that is fine. Do not bring business from that team here and do not bring our business there. More specifically, the wmd community including its roster and its public servers are not to be used as your personal talent pool to recruit from. Take it elsewhere. I assure you, breaking this rule has consequences.
WMD ADMIN RULES
1) All map changes are to be done by way of a vote. (single, multiple, random, etc)
2) Do not SPAM the ma_say command, keep it to a minimum.
3) When the server has non-members in it, no goofing around with the mani features (ie. beacon, teleport, etc, etc)
4) If you are banning someone for hacking, there is to be a demo recorded (there will be a post on how to do this). If there is no demo recorded and the user disputes their ban, We will have no choice but to unban them.
5) If someone is being annoying (asshat) and you have warned them several times, either mute, kick, or ban them for a day or two. Take note of their name and if it happens again, follow up with the perm. We do not perm ban them as a first resort, this should always be a last resort!
6) The sounds in the mani list ARE there to be used but be considerate! If there is two people left for example, and they are around the corner for each other, don’t play a sound, this will affect their ability to hear each other. On the other hand, if they are on opposite sides of the map, give er hell. Also, try not to play these back to back to back, it will make them loose their effect. dont wear em out
7) If someone is AFK, I can justify slapping him ONCE to gain his attention. Anything more then one slap is uneeded and considered admin abuse. Slay the AFK, kick him, or move him to spectator. Please, no more slap happy parties.
8) Admins, if you’re afk, please do not stay in spectate, this causes the votekick feature not to work.
9) Admins are expected to also follow the standard server rules as well (obviously). We should always been leading by example.
If someone is acting up, give them a warning first before anything else! I can’t stress this enough.
